Guilty Pleasures
Alright...I have a confession to make! I have a guilty pleasure and it's called Gilmore Girls re-runs (M-F at 5pm!). I get home just before 5 everyday (sometimes after) and all I want to do is watch the gilmore girls...pathetic. I think it's because they remind me, in a "we're perfect looking and always have the perfect thing to say because it's TV," kind of way of my Mom and I. In any case, I love it. Ironically I don't even know when it's on for current episodes. I just like the reruns I guess. So, this realization has led me to a fun question. Does anyone else have a guilty pleasure along these lines? (Keep it clean ;o) If so, please post!

I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS!!!!! I am totally and completely addicted. Dan hates it so he goes to another room so I can watch it:) Have you watched the new ones? My Machine is Heather's brothers band. They are pretty good. Go to the link and I think you can sample some music. IF you call me tonight call on my cell we are going to Gaylord tonight. love you!
Yet another thing we have in common Kate! I love Gilmore Girls. The current episodes are on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on the WB. (I don't know what time that is in Pacific time) :)
That would be Passions. An NBC soap opera that happens to come on while my girls are napping.
Yes, it's a horrible, sappy, crappy soap opera. And yes, I really watch it, from time to time.
It started when I was pregnant with Ellery and could do nothing but collapse on the couch during Maya's nap. I couldn't even knit. I grabbed the remote, pushed the power button, and on came Passions. And now I'm hooked on the stupid show.
Good thing you can watch a soap after weeks and still know exactly what's going on. Terrible scriptwriting.
Sorry, not a Gilmore Girls fan. I'd have to go in the other room too while y'all watched it. :) My sister-in-law loves it and I usually go in the other room when she is watching it at my in-laws house.
My favorite TV show is Law and Order, but I only get to watch it when I'm visiting parents since we don't get any channels clearly on our TV, let alone the ones that have Law and Order. My favorites are the reruns with the dark haired woman (?) as one of the lawyers.
My other favorite is HGTV--especially Design on a Dime. I get lots of ideas from there that I can't put to use right now.
I'm also a Monk fan. I do get to watch those if I want to since we have the seasons 1 and 2 on DVD.
